Now you have come to the page, Choose variable. This page give you the oportunity to select which variables and values you want to display in your result of the table. A variable is a property of a statistical unit. The page is divided into several boxes, one for each variable, where you can select values by click to highlight one or more values. 2000

The majority of the species had to be excluded from the evaluation for the following reasons: knowledge base of the species is insufficient, the species is very randomly observed, is not inherent or does not occur uncultivated in Finland.

2010

The total number of species (45 000) includes approximately 8 900 non-assessed species not included in organism groups in the evaluation of 2010. The majority of the species had to be excluded from the evaluation either since most of these were non-established species, or the information available on their occurrence or life history was insufficient for carrying out an actual assessment. The total number of threatened species includes 12 species with an unknown habitat type.

2019

: It is estimated that there are at least 48,000 species in Finland. Of these, 36,604 species or lower taxa were classified during the 2019 assessment of threatened species.
A total of 14,186 classified species were left out of the actual evaluation. These are either not applicable (NA) or not evaluated (NE).
Totalling 2,569 species, these not applicable species are mainly new species, randomly occurring species or alien species spread by human activity.
The remaining 11,617 species were classified as not evaluated due to a lack of information, time or specialists, or due to taxonomic inconsistencies.
The “Threatened species, total” category includes 16 species, whose habitat is unknown.
